Many modern houses have been built in the village, but the centre retains its rural cachet.
Fléville Château, a beautiful blend of Medieval and Renaissance styles, is one of the architectural highlights of Greater Nancy. In season, make sure you include the château and listed grounds in your itinerary. Enjoy walking? A large number of paths start from Fléville-devant-Nancy, mainly heading southwards and towards the Vosges Massif. In the village alone, there are nine lock-keepers’ cottages: the connecting canal between the Marne-Rhine Canal and the East Canal is beautiful and some very attractive paths have been created along it for walking and cycling.
