The Excelsior remains one of Nancy's most famous examples of Art Nouveau. The Art Deco extension and staircase banister by Jean Prouvé combine perfectly with the decor of the grand hall, inaugurated in 1911, featuring Majorelle/Daum chandeliers, Majorelle furniture and Gruber stained-glass windows. This brasserie is an exceptional place!
Louis Moreau created this brasserie as a luxury showcase for his Vézelise brewery.
