...three resolutely realistic artists join forces to reveal a reality too often swept under the carpet.
- Jean-Guy Lattraye
With patience and pugnacity, Jean-Guy Lattraye carves marble. He contrasts the power, nobility and historical, aesthetic and museum significance of this material with the representation of everyday objects of little value; he depicts, without ever representing, a humanity into which he struggles to fit.
His works emanate a cold beauty that interrupts, that freezes, the time for a reflection that he hopes to provoke in the viewer.

How pleasant it is to lose oneself in folds.
This motif of undefined shapes, constitutive of all things, structures the whole of my artistic approach. It is through the diversity of representations of objects made of gnarled, crumpled, bumpy, undulating drapes that I attempt, through painting, to question this subject.
All these models, borrowed from reality, appear in their frontality within an anonymous space. These isolated figures express themselves through subtle variations in colored grays. Through its carnal, unstable, ephemeral and delicate aspect, the fold embodies the caducity of things, the passing of time, the dying body.

- Patrick FLEURION is a "precise" cartoonist: taking a precise look at the world and our times, precision is the key word in his declaration of intent.
By consciously cultivating nuances and contrasts, he succeeds in giving the impression of objects emanating from light, which is why his drawings go beyond the imitation of appearances, bearing witness to a sensitive impregnation, a spirit, a consciousness, a substance.
