EXPOSITION - MURMURES URBAINS

Come and meet the liminal, unloved animals of our streets, represented through graphic and poetic artistic works. This exhibition, presented at the Espace Animalier in Parc de la Pépinière, encourages us to get to know and accept our urban neighbors.

The "Urban Murmurs" exhibition invites visitors to explore the tenuous boundaries between human and animal life in our cities, through the prism of street art. Under the striking gaze of artist Sakew, in partnership with the association "Le MUR Nancy", liminal animals come to life in striking mural works. These species, often invisible or poorly perceived, nevertheless share our everyday spaces.

Sakew's works invite us to reflect on cohabitation with these street animals which, although urban, remain wild, neither completely domesticated nor totally foreign? The works are accompanied by short poems in the form of haikus, giving a sensitive voice to these companions of our urban lives. A collaborative wall is available to the public, a space where everyone can give free rein to their artistic and poetic imagination, enriching the open dialogue between humans and urban animals.

"Urban Murmurs" is an invitation to re-examine the place of these animals in our cities, and by extension, our own relationship with the urban environment. At the heart of this exhibition, the question remains: who is really sharing space with whom? And how does this cohabitation shape our mental and physical landscape?
