Around 1712, François Huguet de Graffigny built the château and its park, which was cared for by the famous agronomist Charles-Alexandre Mathieu de Domsbale. The financier Elie continued to develop the park.
Today, the complex is managed by the town of Villers-lès-Nancy. It hosts events, fairs, meetings and temporary exhibitions (timetables can be consulted on the Villers-lès-Nancy website, depending on the program).
