HÔTEL DE CRAON

Historic site and monument, Classical in Nancy
  • Hôtel de Craon, nowadays the Nancy Court of Appeal, was built by the architect German Boffrand in the early 18th century, forty years before the architectural ensemble built by Emmanuel Héré.
Is it possible that Boffrand may have inspired Héré? Examine the magnificent façade of this building very carefully for clues.
