One-off screening of Peter BROOK's film "Encounters with Remarkable Men".

Directed by Peter Brook in 1979 and remastered in 2015, "Encounters with Remarkable Men" recounts the initiatory journey of one man, G.I. Gurdjieff.

In the course of his travels, he rediscovered the trace of an ancient knowledge that he later passed on to his students, particularly in France. The film's central theme is the search for the meaning and purpose of human existence. A testimony to an extraordinary adventure which, through images, will perhaps allow us to feel the very nature of the force that drives the seeker of Truth.

After the screening, students from Strasbourg's Groupe Gurdjieff will take part in a discussion.
