The facade of the disused Alstom site is home to a new artistic intervention inaugurated on the occasion of the Rencontres Urbaines de Nancy 2022: Nomade, by artist Koralie, created in the workshops of the municipal technical center. She likes to mix ethnic and contemporary motifs to create a dreamlike multicultural harmony. Touched by the site's history, color and poetry, the artist imagined an Art Deco-style structure, conceived as a reinterpretation of the stained-glass technique and composed of a patchwork of fabrics in a monochrome of blues. Her work thus evokes the themes of craftsmanship and assemblage between popular tradition, symbolic aesthetics and contemporary ecology.
