After years devoted to graffiti, Spinal artist Vincent Loisy has experimented with different artistic processes, resulting in an atypical mode of expression: illustration using black spray paint and a blowtorch, applied to assemblies of crate pieces.

The minimalism of this technique, in the absence of color and tools dedicated to shading, demands great mastery of the transcription of shadows and textures on faces. For this new work, conceived as part of RUN, the artist has created six portraits, stencilled in monochrome, highlighting the main features of the faces.

They remind us that the marks of the years are beautiful, and that each face carries a story, and give new life to buildings that we don't usually pay attention to.
