Métro'Folies: 1925-2025 LE GRAND NANCY celebrates Art Deco

To celebrate the centenary of the International Exhibition of Decorative Arts inaugurated in 1925, the Metropole of Greater Nancy has chosen to make 2025 the year of Art Deco and the Roaring Twenties.
In addition to commemorating an exceptional heritage, the Métro'Folies event also aims to highlight the various artistic expressions typical of the 20s and 30s (music, cinema, graphic arts, fashion, etc.), and to reflect on the evolution of our society in relation to that of a century earlier.

Weekend entertainment :

Saturday:
- Inaugural concert, with the Grand Jazz de la Rus Sigisberg
- Art Deco Village: stalls

Sunday:
- Swing ball, with the "Hot Guys Stompers" orchestra
- Activities for the general public: initiation to period dances,
- Family entertainment: jugglers, stilt-walkers, 1920s sports dramatization, cane fencing, barrel organ...
- Art Deco Village: stalls inspired by the culture and aesthetics of the 1920s, in partnership with local cultural and commercial players: tailors, designers, hairdressers/barbers with on-site services, photographs, period confectionery, antique jewelry and paintings, second-hand goods dealers, period car showrooms...
