Nancy Voix du monde
The adventure began in 1979 when three choirs from Nancy decided to invite six formations from neighbouring countries for their anniversary. This became a tradition and over the years the festival, which is traditionally held around Ascension Day, has grown in size. A dozen foreign and local choirs perform over five days, during which there are three main highlights: an opening concert with the main festival choir and a vocal ensemble or famous artist, a series of concerts throughout the city, and a large outdoor final concert on the Saturday night.
In addition to the music and singing, guest appearances and moments of exchange between international choristers and choristers from Lorraine make this a particularly rich festival.
