Projection Mapping on the Legend of Saint Nicholas

In a nod to our superb summer projection-mapping show, a winter creation has been specially design for the Festival of Saint Nicholas by the AV Extended multimedia agency.

This original show, with a duration of about ten minutes, is projected onto the façade of the City Hall and presents the legend of Saint Nicholas, patron saint of Lorraine.

A sound and light show inspired by the legend, with a touch of modernity – thanks in particular to the talent of young Lorraine creation: written by Jean Chauvelot, renowned comic-book author, with the music of Laura Cahen, one of the essential singers on the new French music scene today.

A colourful and musical moment to share with all the family, amid the enchanting setting of Place Stanislas.

Practical information

From November 22, 2024 to January 5, 2025

Sunday to Thursday at 6pm
Fridays and Saturdays at 6pm and 7pm and during school vacations

Special times:

Friday, November 22 at 7:35pm (inaugural evening of the Fêtes de Saint-Nicolas, before the lighting of the big Christmas tree)
Wednesday, December 4, 7:15pm (before the student St Nicholas race)
Saturday, December 7 (after the arrival of the parade and the presentation of the keys by the Mayor of Nancy)
