In the resolutely romantic setting of the old town, lovely little boutiques have popped up everywhere. You can find furniture or clothing designers, concept stores, interior design and gourmet food stores, next to art galleries or antiques’ dealers, including a few recognised Nancy School specialists. There are also a few excellent shopping addresses on the edge of the new town, like Rue de la Visitation, Rue Saint-Nicolas, Rue Saint-Dizier and Rue d’Amerval. With all of that, it’s hard to resist!
