In Place Maginot, opposite the Printemps store, Les Vitrines de Nancy (an association that today unites 1,650 shops in Nancy) has opened the ‘Office du commerce’ and created the application BOUTIC NANCY (On the Apple Store and Play Store) which is packed with information and services for all. It’s an application you’ll go back to again and again.
The Marché Central or Central Market on Rue Saint-Dizier is one of the most beautiful food markets in France (closed Sunday afternoons and Mondays). Don’t forget to visit the main shopping streets Rue Saint-Jean and Rue Saint-Georges, either, or the Saint-Sébastien shopping centre with its hundreds of shops and car park.
This shopkeepers’ association is also actively involved in the city’s major events, especially the Saint Nicholas festivities.
