ATELIER - LA POTION INUTILE - SING POP OPÉRA 7

The seriousness of the artistic exercise lies in the performers' ability to have fun while applying themselves. The children of the Maîtrise populaire itinérante de l'Opéra national de Lorraine know how to juggle all the dimensions of scenic and musical performance, and live the artistic experience as a feast that must be scrupulously organized and rehearsed. The effort required to produce a show is indeed called artistic work. But when it becomes a collective effort and is brought to life on the Opera stage in front of a charmed audience, all that remains is the magic of a job well done!

La Potion inutile is a project that continues to develop the artistic faculties of children aged 8 to 14 in singing and acting. Since 2019, Opéra national de Lorraine's seasons have all been marked by the involvement of children from schools and colleges in collaborative productions. And since 2023, with the implementation of a traveling Maîtrise populaire, the Opéra has ventured into an even more chiselled artistic training proposal. With La Potion inutile, children are given the task of discussing, appropriating and transforming a work from the great operatic repertoire. Entertainment guaranteed!
