The Génération Opéra association aims to encourage the discovery, professional integration and promotion of young opera artists. Its members include leading opera house directors in France, Belgium and Switzerland, and it also encourages the creation of synergies between opera houses.
Since 1988, the Voix Nouvelles competition has brought to light numerous talents who are now recognized on the international opera scene. Among them, Nancy audiences have already discovered Hélène Carpentier...The Génération Opéra association aims to encourage the discovery, professional integration and promotion of young opera artists. Its members include leading opera house directors in France, Belgium and Switzerland, and it also encourages the creation of synergies between opera houses.
Since 1988, the Voix Nouvelles competition has brought to light numerous talents who are now recognized on the international opera scene. Among them, Nancy audiences have already discovered Hélène Carpentier in her interpretation of Strauss's Vier letzte Lieder alongside our Orchestra, and Léo Vermot-Desroches in the roles of Truffaldino (L'Amour des trois oranges) and Arbace (Idoménée).
In 2022, the Opéra national de Lorraine opened its doors for an eliminatory round of the competition for the Grand Est region. This season, audiences will have the pleasure of discovering, or rediscovering, two prize-winning singers from the 2023 edition of the competition, Juliette Mey and Héloïse Poulet (Clorinda in La Cenerentola).
