Today, the sleep of top athletes is the subject of increasing attention in sports training centers. While being a good sleeper doesn't necessarily make you a winner, sleeping badly can be detrimental to performance. Insufficient sleep, whether in terms of quantity or quality, has an impact on a number of determinants of sports performance and recovery. What is the link between sleep and recovery (physical and mental)? How much sleep do we need? How can we measure sleep quality? What are the best strategies for better sleep, recovery and performance? These are just some of the questions that will be addressed in this conference, along with testimonials from top sportsmen and women.
By Jean-Luc Schaff, neurologist, accompanied by several top athletes who will testify
