JARDIN DE LA CITADELLE

  • On the ramparts of the Ville-Vieille, next to the Porte de la Citadelle built in 1598 by Charles III, lies a small secret garden. Medieval in style but influenced by the Renaissance, this 1270 m² nature area features squares of aromatic and medicinal plants. In spring and summer, it's a delight to smell the honeysuckle, the old rose or crinkle the leaves of mint and thyme.
