The years 1919 to 1929 were brimming with joy and "madness" after several years of a war that seemed like it would never happen again. Everyone was looking for ways to bask in the euphoria of a new-found peace. Women, who have kept the country going, are emancipated. The waltz-musette and java intersect with the charleston, jazz, tango and music hall.

This project is an opportunity to discover a repertoire of vocal music that is sometimes forgotten, often committed, rarely present in Conservatory programs, but adapted to the students' know-how objectives.
