St. Nicholas is on a boat ... and he's left the butcher.

Let's move away from the well-known nursery rhyme and story to find St. Nicholas on the water, as he is also the patron saint of boatmen and bargemen.
Saint Nicolas, our favorite legend in Lorraine and Nancy, invites you to a musical and luminous enchantment.

Musical welcome at the port from 5pm.
At 5:30 p.m., the procession of lanterns made and carried by Nancy schoolchildren arrives, along with the dragon-boat and kayaks from the Canoe Kayak Club, who will illuminate the canal during a poetic stroll. They will be accompanied by the Batucada Del Sol and the Batucada Da Colina.
At 6 p.m., the Mayor of Nancy will hand over the city's anchor to Saint Nicolas, followed by a fireworks display from Port Sainte-Catherine.

Hot chocolate, hot apple juice, waffles and crêpes on sale.

Event organized by the Faubourg en fêtes association, with the participation of the AVQs, local schools and the City of Nancy.
