SPECTACLE - GYPSY / JULE STYNE

In the United States, during the Great Depression, a housewife dreams of stardom and decides to travel the country with her two daughters - Baby June and Louise - to present her burlesque acts. Based on this true story, lyricist Stephen Sondheim - the man behind West Side Story - and composer Jule Styne created a masterpiece that would become the mother of the musical, strangely never performed in France to this day.
