"Make parents, not children
Not long ago, while reading an article by Laura Verquère in the feminist magazine La Déferlante about Donna Haraway, Rébecca Chaillon was struck by her quote.
We need to "overthrow the family order forged by centuries of patriarchy" and be creative around these issues of making family.
Think of parenthood as a field of research, a playground, and open up political horizons on the relationship to natality, procreation, reproduction...

Question these words to better rethink desires.

La Daronnerie will be an immersive, participatory performance about making a family. This project invites people who are children of, sisters and brothers of, parents of, grandparents of, it invites the half and whole, the legal, the adopted, the gemellarians, the Gemini signs, the blended, the decomposed, the chosen families, but above all those who want to think about the family differently...
La Daronnerie" is also designed for young audiences, to question future visions, and also calls on maternity/paternity health professionals (obstetricians, gynecologists, midwives, nursery nurses, auxiliaries, nurses' aides, doulas, psychologists, marriage and family counselors...), because that's where the project begins. Creation that questions procreation.
