Alex and his fellow anarchist activists set up a network of burglars. Together, they steal from the rich to redistribute to the poor. In this original play commissioned from Auriane Abécassis by director Morgane Deman, the four performers tell the story of Alexandre Marius Jacob, an anarchist and thief of the Belle Epoque. The tri-frontal set-up invites the spectator to become totally involved in the story, feeling at the heart of the action and the breathless life of this little-known hero. By turns accomplice, activist, juror and neighbor, they take part in this documented fiction, freely inspired by the political action of the Night Workers. This young team makes us feel their indignation in the face of capitalism that crushes everything, and questions the means of action to eradicate social inequalities.
